As the Alpha Chapter of Eta Kappa Nu, we aim to foster and continue strong relationships with notable companies. HKN seeks to keep students informed about important opportunities, as well as invite companies to tap into a highly selective group of students. Fostering and maintaining strong relations with industry is vital to these ends.

Eta Kappa Nu partners with corporations primarily through technical talks, corporate presentations, as well as informal luncheons. We are also open to hosting other types of events to fit your company's needs.

Eta Kappa Nu, as a leader in the ECE community, strives to help students and their potential employers network and build enduring relationships. HKN will be hosting Evening with Industry (EWI) on February 11, 2008. EWI presents an excellent opportunity for students to interact closely with company representatives over a banquet dinner. The Evening will feature two segments. During Phase I, company representatives will have the opportunity to make 20-minute presentations about their company with 10 minutes for questions and answers to three different groups of students. During Phase II, company representatives will engage in conversations with the student attendees over a banquet meal in a more personal, interactive manner.
The first Evening With Industry took place in the fall of 2005 and was recently hosted by Eta Kappa Nu this past October, with Cisco Systems, IBM, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, and Northrop Grumman participating.
