Membership in HKN is based primarily on scholastic performance - only
the top 25% of the junior class and the top 33% of the senior class
are invited to join. If you meet these requirements, you will have received
an email early in the semester. Potential initiates must perform a semester
of service work for HKN as well as go through a formal interview process.
Once they pass through this process, the initiation ceremony takes place
near the end of the semester. If you have any questions about initiation,
contact our vice president Gary Yen.
However, even if you do not meet the qualifications for membership,
HKN offers many activities in which you can participate. Everyone, member
or not, is welcome to come to our general meetings as well as the company
